This album is a tribute to all the music that makes us who we are.
Here you will find our recordings of several traditional songs that have influenced us on our musical journeys. In order to keep it more true to tradition, all tracks on this album are recorded “Live-to-Tape”, no cheating, no overdubs. Some songs are taken from live shows, some are from live studio broadcasts, some are just recorded in our living room, playing for a handful of people. In all cases, we hope you enjoy, and Leavin’ Trunk reminds you to cherish the tradition of music, and help ensure that old music never dies.
